The HR Business Partner provides full cycle human resources support to our Amazon Global IT organization. Based in Seattle this role will be a part of a fun, passionate and dynamic global HR and business team. The role requires someone who can be hands-on as a strong business partner and coach to the IT leaders yet has the capability to participate in strategic projects including improving organizational effectiveness and design, leading change management and driving HR functional excellence. · Bachelors Degree required in Human Resources Management or related field. · 5 plus years of experience in progressive HR roles with broad knowledge and experience in human resource management. · 3 plus years HR experience in a high tech environment.· Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred. · Broad experience and specific knowledge of human resource theory, including employee relations, development and performance appraisal systems. · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth
