Amazon is seeking a dynamic, organized, self-starter to join our Human Resources team as a HR Business Partner to the Kindle Content organization. The org is focused on revolutionizing digital book reading and shopping experience through innovative technology. Millions of customers around the world are already read on Kindle devices. If working with smart people from both tech and non-tech functions across countries to delight our Kindle customers sounds interesting, this job is for you. You will play a critical role in helping the organization achieve our vision of making available every book, ever written, in any language and delivering it in less than 60 seconds anywhere in the world. In this position, you will partner with the senior management team (Directors) along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute HR strategies that support organizational growth and foster people effectiveness. You will think strategically as well as roll up your sleeves and dive deep

· 3+ years’ work experience in an HR Generalist/Business Partner role including, performance management, change management, and employee communications · Bachelor’s degree in related discipline · Strong business and HR acumen · Experience managing cross-functional projects and initiatives · Demonstrated ability to coach managers to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness · Experience with MS Office Suite, HRIS system experience (i.e. PeopleSoft) · 2-3 years HR experience supporting tech teams or in a tech company · Experience in the development and administration of HR programs · Experience
