Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Event Marketing Manager to manage a highly visible new program for AWS. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role on a rapidly growing event marketing team. In this role you will build out the strategy, mange the go-to market-plan, and execute events targeting IT decision makers and consumers alike. You will define the strategy and goals of each program component, such as the creation of the all-up marketing plan (demand generation), pricing strategy, ticketing goals, and forecasts. You will also manage the revenue, budget, timeline, and oversee a variety of vendors and venue partners to ensure all stakeholders are working together to deliver a high-quality experience. Responsibilities · Define the event strategy and event goals to ensure event success. · Develop detailed project plans, including programs goals assessed with leadership through narrative writing. This includes budget management and scope / SOW assessment. Drive meetings,

· Degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant field of study. · 6 to 8 years of event/project management/marketing experience. · Experience in designing and managing event programs. · Strong analytical and problem solving skills. · Not afraid to try new things – driven to constantly improve the experience. · Experience in working with a cross collaboration of multiple teams. · Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot and problem-solve. · A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility, and proven success delivering. · Measurable event marketing
