One Account to Shop the World! Amazon Pay is seeking an experienced North America Head of Sales who will lead Amazon Pay's direct sales team efforts to deliver Amazon Pay to new SMB, mid-market, and large enterprise sized merchants. Amazon Pay is a service that makes it easy for millions of buyers, who have established a relationship and stored their shopping details with Amazon, connect and transact with merchants, on external merchant sites and applications. The role requires an experienced sales leader who can guide managers as well as individual sales representatives to prospect, qualify, negotiate and close agreements with third-party merchants. The ideal candidate will possess a sales management background that enables them to lead a team of inside sales representatives with engagements up to the CXO level. They will be a self-starter and be willing to operate both tactically and strategically. As a key team member in this fast-growing space, they will have the opportunity to help
Qualifications: · 10 plus years of experience in sales and management in the payments, financial services, e-commerce, enterprise software or SaaS/technology industry. · Bachelor's degree required. · Direct experience working with small, mid-market and enterprise accounts. · Strong verbal and written communications skills. · Proven track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologies within enterprise accounts. · Expect moderate travel.Preferred Qualifications: Proven track record of the following: · Building high performance sales teams · Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue
