Amazon Web Services (AWS) is building a world-class marketing organization, and we are looking for a Head of Business Intelligence to lead the Business Intelligence and Insights team to fuel the marketing team’s performance and growth. As a key leader on the Marketing Data: Science and Engineering (D:SE) team you will partner with a team of experts across the fields of Product Management, Data Science, Machine Learning and Data Engineering to develop new and innovative solutions to some of the hardest challenges in Marketing. In this role, you will manage the key initiatives and partner with business stakeholders, to drive actionable findings and recommendations to drive key business outcomes for the AWS business. · A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required. · 7+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, market research or related field · 3+ years of experience managing a team of Business Analysts or Business Intelligence Engineers · Proficient in SQL working with large-scale, complex datasets from multiple sources · Advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Amazon Quicksight, Tableau, or similar BI tools · Working knowledge of ETL, data modeling and big data tools · Strong communication (verbal and written)
