The Global AWS Hardware Infrastructure Security Team (HIST) is looking for an experienced Senior Hardware Security Engineer with deep hardware security expertise to help define the future of cloud technologies. In this role you will work daily alongside some of the most distinguished engineers and business leaders in the company as you help create and secure our most advanced hardware solutions. Are you familiar with “secure boot” and how it works? Have you worked with Intel and ARM security technologies? How about PCIe and SPI buses? BMC and IPMI? ROM and NAND? TPM and UEFI? If you have experience with hardware platform design and related security considerations, in this role you can shape how cloud computing is experienced and shared by people across the world for years to come. * BS in Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent work experience * Minimum of 6 years of experience in computer hardware, with demonstrated experience supporting product teams with technical design input and security risk analysis, and two or more of the following: -- Hardware security (UEFI, Secure Boot, TPM, TrustZone, SGX, bus and memory protection, etc) -- Hardware design (JTAG, UART, PCIe/SPI/I2C buses, ROM, NAND, ASIC/FPGA, Gerber files, etc) -- Firmware/Driver development (VERILOG, C/C++, early boot environment, microcode, HAL, etc) -- Security review /
