Amazon Go is a new kind of store with no lines and no checkout. Customers use the Amazon Go app to enter the store, take what they want from our selection of fresh, delicious meals and grocery essentials, and go. Our checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by our Just Walk Out Technology, which automatically detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual cart. After customers leave the store we charge their Amazon account and send them a receipt. We are looking for exceptional hardware engineers to build the next generation of cutting edge hardware that will enable the computer vision, sensor fusion, and advanced machine learning that Just Walk Out Technology is built on. This role will have an emphasis on Design Validation Engineering (DVE) work, with the opportunity to contribute in other areas as development cycles and individual capabilities allow. As a Design Validation Engineer, you will develop a system-level design

· BS Electrical Engineering (or related field) · 2+ years of experience in hardware development · Experience developing and executing test plans · Component qualification and validation · Hands-on proficiency with test and measurement equipment · Bring-up, debug, and troubleshooting experience · Solid EE fundamentals· Experience taking designs through Design for Manufacturability reviews. · Experience working with off-shore Contract Manufacturers · Experience with scripting and basic firmware proficiency · Experience with EMC compliance · Experience with schematic entry, layout, and simulation
