The purpose of the GD and I Event Project Manager role is to determine and drive the implementation of the diversity and inclusion practices for Microsoft Tier 1 events and for designing and executing the diversity and inclusion experience at Microsoft signature events in partnership with D and I team and Events Studio and Community (ESC) community.
Determines, consults and implements approach for imbedding diversity and inclusion practices into MSFT hosted Tier 1 flagship events and strategic outreach events ensuring alignment with global strategy Partner with D and I leaders to set direction and vision for GD and I experience at MSFT flagship events; owns end to end project and stakeholder management to bring experience to life at highest quality, within budget and on time; measures and reports impact and alignment with broader strategy. Supports requirements scoping and request for proposal process for selection and onboarding of new vendors
5+ year's of large scale event and/or conference planning related to Diversity and Inclusion 5 + year's experience managing 3rd party vendors Strong Business Acumen Critical Systems thinking: the ability to understand, develop, and influence processes and models to achieve desired outcomes * Global mindset and commitment to inclusion Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
