Amazon is looking for a Financial Analyst to be a key member of our Alexa Domains Finance team focussing on the Entertainment Group. Domains teams are responsible for delivering customer facing features and capabilities of Alexa. As a Financial Analyst on the team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with Domain business leaders and influence the growth and direction of Alexa. Responsibilities include: · Presenting financial summaries and business insights to senior management · Assist in developing business cases and prioritizing investment opportunities · Driving short and long-term financial planning · Establishing and maintaining operating and business metrics The successful candidate will have shown experience in past roles supporting decision making in rapidly evolving environments. This role requires a self starter with strong modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects effectively. This role also has regular interaction with executives
BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science) or equivalent and a minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. · Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast paced and rapidly-changing environment · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and drive projects to completion · Advanced Excel skills · Advanced use of SQL (data mining and business intelligence) Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative
