The Amazon Logistics Finance team seeks a Financial Analyst to support our WW Financial Planning and Analysis team. This person will join the transportation finance team and work in close partnership with global finance teams to develop and manage reporting, provide insightful analysis, and develop global reporting standards. Job Responsibilities include: · Collecting, analyzing and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful analyses · Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting the Transportation team improve and create new measures for productivity · Manage the development all planning, forecasting, and reporting models and their continuous innovation · Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.
· BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias · 3+ years relevant experience in positions that require analysis and reporting financial results · Required proficiency in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups) · Demonstrated financial acumen and/or analytical experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results · Advanced experience demonstrating problem solving and root cause analysis· MBA and/or Professional certification (CPA/CMA/Qualified Accounting certificate)
