Amazon seeks an experienced Financial Analyst to own the financial planning and analysis function for our Worldwide Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) business. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most transformative businesses at Amazon. In addition to end-to-end ownership of all KDP planning processes, the role provides analytical support in areas like author acquisition, royalty models, authors’ customer service, helping authors earn more, fraud detection, public library lending, operations, and several other new initiatives in the product planning phase. The successful candidate will work closely with finance and business leaders to provide strategic guidance, as well as overall finance, operational and decision support in this exciting and evolving space. · BA/BS degree required minimum 3 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.· MBA · Advanced Excel (Power Pivot/macros) and business modeling skills · Excellent verbal and written communications skills · Track record of working with business owners to develop and define key business questions and build data sets that answer those questions · Superior attention to detail, project management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously · Strong analytical and communication skills with an
