Our team's charter is to expand Cloud margins through deep engineering partnerships to lower capacity unit costs and optimize infrastructure utilization. We drive end-to-end infrastructure planning for best-in-class customer experience while optimizing profitability. We lead decision support for Microsoft's long-term best to stay ahead of competition. We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the reporting and insights for workload COGS and Gross margin health across the Azure Standalone, Azure SaaS and Dynamics 365 businesses. Maintain and enhance the analytical framework to allocate capacity and non-capacity COGS to the various cloud workloads. Own end to end project management of the service gross margin health publish process to engineering leaders Partner with various stakeholder teams to define service hierarchies, govern cost allocation principles and execute in financial systems across month close and forecast rhythms Provide business requirement and collaborate with the C+AI business insight team to construct monthly reporting and publish key insights on service business health trends to finance and engineering
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, math, computer science/engineering or related discipline. MBA preferred 5+ years of relevant finance, business or analysis experience with progressive advancement within your discipline Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking Proven data and financial modeling capabilities and ability to work with financial systems Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way. Executive level oral and written communication skills. Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated results in proactively driving and delivering high value/high-impact
