The Gaming Finance team is looking for an impactful Finance Manager to help manage, measure, and guide our content pipeline into the next stages of success for Xbox Game Studios. This role will partner with several studios recently added to our portfolio and will be integral in ensuring the studios are provided the right level of support by MSFT.
Business Partnership: Partner with studio and studio leadership by providing business insights and highlighting risks and opportunities Act as Finance liaison between minimally integrated studio and various MSFT teams Partner with studio to build robust financial models to guide new and existing content investment decisions Financial Planning: Monthly Financial Reporting- Provide financial results to studio leadership with analysis of variances and business insights Manage the close process- Ensure that monthly results for each studio is accurate Budgets and forecasts- Support the budgeting and
• BA/BS in Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting. MBA or CPA is highly valued and preferred. • 3 or more years of demonstrated financial analysis work experience, preferably in the entertainment industry (video games, movies, music, interactive entertainment) • Very strong spreadsheet competency with Excel required. • Knowledge of MS Finance tools is a significant asset. • Must have ability to manage across organizational boundaries • Detailed oriented and thorough, ability to think "big picture" and understand key trends and levers that drive the business
