Microsoft's Artificial Intelligence + Research Group ("AI+R") is an exciting, fast growing business unit that is responsible for driving the company's overall AI strategy and forward-looking research and development. The group is responsible for delivering services that seek to empower our users by bringing them closer to the people and information that matter most to them. Bing Search is the single largest AI application from Microsoft presently, but the team also drives the company's effort across other AI initiatives in Health, Retail, Chatbots, and Virtual Assistants. We are looking for an innovative, highly motivated, and analytical Finance Manager with a passion for Search + AI services. As a member of the AI+R Finance team, this individual would partner across our organization by working closely with Central Finance, Revenue Analytic and Sales Finance teams. This role will also have the opportunity to collaborate across Microsoft engaging with Search Engineering Finance, MCIO, Microsoft

Financial P and L Management: Lead Key Financial ROB that includes working closely with many different work stream owners to meet P and L objectives and report results thru close, MBR , and Quarterly reviews. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Analyze and present executive quality financial results performance to leadership teams. This includes monitoring P and L trends, key drivers, revenue, and resource investments against plan/forecast assumptions. Systems: Management of financial reporting systems working closely with our Solutions Delivery team, identifying areas of efficiencies by using new
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration or economics or other quantitative/analytical discipline 3+ years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience with demonstrated experience of strong analytical and numerical skills Experience using corporate financial systems and proven ability to leverage multiple data sources and maintain an accurate plan of record in a dynamic environment. (Experience using MSFT tools preferred, but not required) Advanced Excel skills with experience with financial analysis, modeling, and data management Experience forming cross-group and cross-functional
