Amazon is seeking a Finance Manager to join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Sales and Marketing (SMS) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP and A) group. The FP and A team is responsible for managing financial rhythms of the business, including the annual operating plan, long range plan, regular forecast process, and for providing analytical support to senior management. The role operates in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, and influences the decisions of senior business leaders both within AWS and across the broader Amazon through effective verbal and written communication, logical reasoning, and the presentation of alternatives. The successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically. Primary responsibilities include: · Analyze and manage AWS Cost allocation and reporting. · BA/BS required · Prior experience managing a team · 6 plus years in finance roles with progressively increasing levels of responsibility · · MBA/CFA/CFA Preferred · Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills · Excellent analytical skills, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture · Exceptional business judgment capable of driving a diverse organization to the right results with a focused, pragmatic approach · Strong bias for action, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities
