The Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure finance team is looking for a talented and motivated individual to help shape the future of our cloud products. You would be joining an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft's cloud strategy. The team has a charter to: Build out end to end Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure while driving down unit cost of capacity Expand Cloud Services Profitability through focus on Gross Margin Support Long Term bets, and drive Competitive Intelligence to keep Microsoft Cloud ahead of competition Enhance transparency into Cloud Infrastructure investments Promote an inclusive, growth mindset work environment where everyone can do their best work
We are looking for a Finance Manager to contribute to the overall FP and A output of the Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure Central Finance Team. Core responsibilities include: Financial analysis: conduct financial analysis to provide business readouts and trends and articulate those findings. Reporting: Manage existing reporting as well as building new reports as needed; ensuring clear and concise business stories are consistent across deliverables. Modeling of future scenarios: LRP, forecasts, sensitivity analysis, etc. Business partnering across organizations, incl. Corporate and other Finance teams
4+ years of relevant finance, planning or analysis work experience with a strong analytical foundation Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand financial models built using databases Excellent and proven Excel skills Thorough and detailed oriented Comfortable and enjoys handing ambiguity and uncertainty in a business that evolves at fast pace Strong partnering capabilities, collaborative and inclusive when working with others Strong written and verbal communications Able to manage multiple work streams and prioritize as needed Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, computer
