The Venture Integration Finance Director is responsible for providing insight, clarity, and execution to Microsoft's acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures. This role leads all financial aspects of MS acquisition and divestitures execution. The role calls for a very experienced finance leader with broad experiences in both revenue, P and L management, compliance and core accounting. Core job responsibilities include: Building a strong process to assess project budgets in coordination with stakeholders in the Engineering Groups, VI Human Resources, CFS (Corp Accounting) and the broader relevant finance community. Driving (thru the VI Finance team) preliminary due diligence efforts for the finance pipe; leading and executing confirmatory due diligence; leading the financial integration planning and execution. Coordinating and leading the engagement with CFS (Corp Accounting) teams to ensure proper financial integration: from policies, core accounting practices to systems and tools

Qualifications Strong financial and business acumen. Must be an effective communicator at all levels with the ability to act as trusted advisor to senior management. Outstanding people leader: building, strengthening and motivating a high functioning VI Finance team. An MS, MA, MBA or like advanced degree in Business or related field is a benefit. Broad-based business knowledge in the high-tech industry. Mergers and acquisitions experience is desirable but not critical. Strong program management skills and the ability to lead work across the team in a way that balances and complements strengths
