The Operations Finance team is seeking a Finance Analyst II to support Transportation Controllership for North America. The NA Transportation Finance Controllership team is responsible for finance support related to all payment and accounting activities in the transportation space, including import, domestic inbound, warehouse transfer, and outbound shipments. We partner closely with transportation business units and tech teams as they work to continually refine and scale the business to keep pace with Amazon's rapid growth. Along with our partners in Accounting, we are responsible for closing the books on NA Transportation shipments. Basic Qualifications: · BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias · Understanding of Accounting concepts · 2+ years of relevant experience in positions that require analysis, including internships · Prior experience working across teams and large organizations · Strong communication skills · Experience performing financial and ad-hoc analysis using Excel · Strong Excel skills (pivots, index match, look-ups, etc.) · Proven SQL ability (query writing, updating, validation) · Ability to travel; up to 10% travel expected · Prior
