AWS Enterprise Support continues to grow at a phenomenal pace and to help grow and scale this business, we are looking for a Senior Program Manager to develop and own a Customer Capacity Management process. AWS is the world-leader in cloud computing allowing organizations to reliably scale based on their business needs. This means we have some of the world’s largest customers growing their cloud infrastructures rapidly which requires a large amount of infrastructure capacity. As a Senior Program Manager you will join the Enterprise Support Operations team and own Customer Capacity Management for our customers’ needs across AWS services. The role will include working proactively to build mechanisms to better understand our customer capacity demand needs with the goal of providing AWS Service teams the correct demand signals that increase accuracy
· Bachelors or equivalent degree in computer science or a related field · Program Management Experience · Experience in building and driving processes across a large set of distributed stakeholder · Experience in infrastructure capacity planning for major organizations using cloud based architectures · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role · Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role · Understanding of supply chain and just-in-time concepts · Knowledge of statistical forecasting models · Basic understanding of finance as related
