Microsoft HoloLens Team is continuing to revolutionize consumer electronic devices. We are growing team of experienced device product developers, working in a startup environment on redefining experiences with epic technology innovation. We are developing ground-breaking hardware, software and experiences across computer vision, machine learning, human-computer interaction, and image and video processing, networking and graphics. We will transform our ideas into reality through shipping a first-to-market product. We are looking for candidates with strong EE fundamentals and have interest in system integration and board design work. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, be creative, willing learner, and able to analyze and distill complex issues.

This onboard hire will own 1 or more board designs, functions include: Working with system leads and software team members to define board requirements Design all the necessary circuits needed for proper system integration Run Spice simulations and perform bread-boarding to validate circuits in HW Perform schematic entry and manage PCB layout design work Work closely with SW team and IC vendors on integration Firmware and SW Perform HW bring-up, support debug and failure analysis Design team owns validation, designer expected to create test plan and help with validation The position requires international
Qualifications: BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar field. (MS preferred) or equivalent experience. Preferred candidate to have 2 years' experience with system integration and board-level design in consumer electronics hardware at component, sub-system and system levels Preferred candidate to have understanding of HDI PCB design and use of schematic entry tools like Cadence Concept HDL and PCB design tools like Cadence Allegro Experience in using EE equipment such as taking measurements on Oscilloscopes, etc. Candidate must have passion for hands-on lab work Good debug
