The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Executive Briefing Center (EBC) team is expanding its program, and is looking for an experienced program manager to join the team as an EBC Events Manager. This person will be part of a team extending the EBC experience to customers participating in our field events around the globe to identify the benefits of moving to the cloud, help answer customer questions and concerns and accelerate their cloud adoption. As EBC Events Manager, this individual will focus on expanding and coordinating the delivery of EBC offerings outside of Seattle and around the world. This includes contributing to development of strategy for types of meetings and outcomes we want to drive with our EBC meetings at our annual global user conference (re:Invent) and select other field marketing events as well as EBC On the Road Events. This individual will also help to create scalable processes and tooling to allow the global teams to leverage the existing EBC knowledge. They will also work
· 3+ years in large scale event management · Demonstrated success in program management and project management. · Development and implementation of large scale event based programs, including meetings, conferences, trade-show events · Tooling and process management for either large scale event booking and organization, or standardizing activity for delivery in multiple locations globally · Event strategy development, and then turning the strategy into actionable recommendations, tasks and project plans · Senior Executive interface, specifically around gaining buy-in for your vision · Bachelor’s
