Do you want to make a tremendous impact at Microsoft by developing a strategy and program and working with internal and external partners on rural community digital transformation projects? The Airband Initiative Team is working with internal and external partners to develop innovative new products, solutions, and business models that will help billions more people affordably get online and access online applications and services, powered by Microsoft's Cloud. We have over 70 projects in 20 countries. This includes projects in 20 US States. As we scale for greater impact, we see a strategic opportunity to evolve our partnership and business model to better align Airband Initiative projects and partnerships with Microsoft's business-related priorities. To support this evolution, we are now seeking an experienced leader who can help us programmatically engage deeper with select partners and customers and create public-private partnerships to drive digital transformation, innovation, and reimagine

Creating Business Strategy: Defining the multiyear business strategy and roadmap for the Airband Initiative. Framing, analyzing opportunity and creating joint value propositions around strategic partnerships. Framing ambiguous business opportunities, creating structured business recommendations, and adapting quickly based on senior stakeholder or market input. Building Internal Partnerships: Leading cross-functional teams to create, implement, and refine aspects of our business models. Partnering across marketing, sales, operations, product and business groups, CELA, and others to drive cross-discipline
To be a strong candidate, you should have 10+ years of experience developing and leading programs and partnerships at scale, and have strong strategic skills, execution excellence, and executive credibility. A strong candidate will have balanced expertise in both strategy development and program execution. A strong candidate will have a demonstrated track record of: Working collaboratively with large groups of internal partners to define and execute strategic initiatives with passion, data-based decision making, and process excellence Successfully navigating the Microsoft organization and leveraging
