Director, Business Development,
The Director, Business Development, role in the Global Games Partner and Development organization will focus on the Gaming Cloud business and provide a significant opportunity to provide business leadership in this new Microsoft division. This role will provide corporate level leadership for a highly strategic growth opportunities working with internal and external partners around key initiatives including: ecosystem development, M and A and alliance formations, new business model development, strategy formation, partner/customer management, and lead partner/customer business negotiations for Microsoft's engagement with leading ecosystem partner/customers in the global gaming, network technology, and telecommunications industries. Through Microsoft Gaming Cloud and Azure services and technologies, Microsoft is providing the means for our partners and customers to leverage the intelligent cloud and intelligent edge to digitally transform their businesses.

Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a network of relationships across multiple industry segments with current and potential partners, customers, acquisition targets, competitors, thought leaders, investors, and industry leaders. Effectively manage and drive deal execution with deal team through internal processes and external execution. Developing, structuring, negotiating, and closing contracts with key partners to support both Microsoft's tactical and strategic investments in the Gaming Cloud business Monitor deal performance and track efficacy relative to expectations post-close. Qualifications: Experience and subject matter expertise in cloud services and/or working with ecosystem partners in the mobile telecommunications is strongly preferred for this role Experience in complex large scale end-to-end commercial deal execution Business strategy and market development expertise with deep analytics and business modeling skills Passion for product, technology, and creating great end to end customer experiences Contribution to High Performance Team: Maximizing our potential is a team effort across the Global Gaming Partner and Development Business Development organization
