The Microsoft Services Business Model, Strategy and Pricing team is looking for a talented strategy leader. This unique opportunity includes responsibility for business strategies, pricing capability development and planning for Enterprise Services, a multi-billion-dollar business. We are looking for a proven Director of Business Strategy, who can understand trends in technology Services, identify strategic insights, develop them into executable plans and oversee or aid implementation.
This is a high impact role that will drive strategy development, design and business planning. Collaborating across multiple teams including marketing, sales, delivery, operations, systems development, Business Groups, licensing, legal, tax, and finance is an essential part of the job. Responsibilities include: Lead critical strategic initiatives for the business, including analyzing and framing options with rationale, aligning sponsors/stakeholders, and aiding implementation Identify and develop opportunities to unlock further revenue, drive customer satisfaction, define risks, and create controls
A successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, business planning or marketing, ideally in the tech sector. Other qualifications include: Aptitude and the passion for both strategy formulation and program execution Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail Clear, concise, and convincing communications – both written and oral Strong executive presence and the ability to collaborate with and influence others BS/BA or equivalent experience required; MS / MBA strongly preferred
