Designer 1 Microsoft is currently seeking an experienced, motivated, creative, and customer-focused Designer to help drive Design for Azure. As a designer on our team, you will be responsible for delivering design and innovation across one or more facets of the design process, including rapid prototyping, storytelling, sketching, storyboarding, information architecture, interaction design, visual design, motion design, design research and usability. The user experience designer must be a strong advocate for the user, know the user based on real customer interactions, and learn and champion industry-leading user-centered design practices. Key qualifications 2+ years' experience with visual and interaction design skills 2+ years' experience typography and visual systems 1+ years' experience prototyping – HTML/CSS skills Enthusiasm for an iterative design process Fluent in current design tools (i.e. Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma, etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present your work to peers across disciplines Outstanding collaboration skills Ability to think creatively and critically about design problems Demonstrated ability to synthetize design solutions from ambiguous concepts Familiarity with
