Support and administer database platforms for performance critical, highly available, massively concurrent, distributed systems on UNIX/Linux platform. Support layers of databases, including system architecture, operating systems, and hardware, storage, and network configurations. Troubleshoot complex technical problems. Assess and mitigate risks by conducting performance tuning, backup/recovery, and scalability/capacity planning using Linux, system calls, memory management, and program debugging. Establish and maintain security and integrity controls. Formulate and monitor policies, procedures, and standards relating to data management. Establish and calculate optimum database parameters. Position Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Five (5) years of experience must include experience in: RDBMS platforms; Managing petabytes scale data lakes; Providing technical support for Microsoft SQLServer, MariaDB MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle; Demonstrated knowledge of data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing; Experience with two (2) or more of the following database engines and technologies: Microsoft SQLServer, Mysql, MariaDB,
