We are a centralized Project Management team supporting the WWCS HR and the organization's key goals and initiatives. While a major focus of the WWCS HR PM team is to track, monitor and report on programs and projects, our primary objective is leading the execution of these programs, focusing on the strategic outcomes and expected benefits. Our team understands the key WWCS HR network priorities, incorporates program-specific and/or domain knowledge, and can effectively manage traditional PMO activities, including risk assessment/mitigation, establishing and managing project schedules, cost and scope. As a Data Scientist on the Amazon WWCSHR PMO team, will build machine learning and statistical models, using our world class data systems,
· Bachelors Degree with 5 years of experience · Experience in SQL and R, or Python · Track record of diving into data to discover hidden patterns and of conducting error/deviation analysis · Knowledge of various machine learning techniques and key parameters that affect their performance · Experience developing experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes, using strong baselines, and determining cause and effect relations · Evidence of using of relevant statistical measures such as confidence intervals, significance of error measurements, development and evaluation data sets, etc
