Amazon Tax Calculation Services team is looking for a Sr. Data Scientist to help define and execute on critical long term strategies for Amazon. The ideal candidate has a background statistics, applied mathematics, or computational science and a history of solving difficult problems using a scientific approach. As a Data Scientist, your role will be to develop sophisticated algorithms that involve learning from large amounts of data. You will be responsible for researching, experimenting and analyzing predictive and optimization models. You will be working on ambiguous and complex business problems with the goal of developing innovative solutions.
