AWS Training and Certification (T and C) is seeking a Data Governance Specialist with expertise in Data Governance and Data Management domain to ensure that high quality data exists throughout the complete lifecycle of the T and C organizations data. You are an expert who will identify opportunities and processes to ensure information (data) meets the following characteristics, including but not limited to: accuracy, validity, reliability, timeliness, relevance and completeness. What you'll do: · Work with key stakeholders to gain consensus, document and create a central framework, and then to facilitate workflow and change management of those assets. · Have a holistic perspective on the entire data governance process from both a business and technical perspective. · Demonstrate strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. · Implement industry-leading solutions and best practices
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Technology or related field. · Minimum 5+ years of experience in data governance or data quality analysis and data management · 1+ Excel Skills (Advanced = pivot tables, etc.) · 5+ years demonstrated data presentation skills to both business and technical teams. · Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects with excellent problem-solving skills. · Highly organized, excellent multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations. · Previous experience with process management
