The Marketplace Fees team is seeking a Data Engineer who will be involved in developing data solutions and executing analyses on a massive scale. This person will partner with our Scientists to build and support statistical, analytical, and machine learning models that will shape the future of the Amazon Marketplace. This person will be responsible for driving data engineering projects for key business initiatives around fee optimization to help Marketplace sellers offer our customers competitively priced selection and drive Marketplace growth. As a Data Engineer you should be an expert with data warehousing technical components (e.g. ETL, Reporting Solutions, Data Modelling), infrastructure (e.g. hardware
· 5+ years experience in data warehousing. · 3+ years experience with notable OLAP technologies and BI reporting tools, including administration, modeling, and report/dashboard development. · Solid knowledge of AWS database and storage services (Redshift, Spectrum, RDS, S3, etc.). · Strong data modelling and ETL development skills. · Familiarity with statistical and machine learning concepts. · Bachelors in Computer Science or a related technical field.· Expert with Amazon Redshift or other distributed computing technology. · Experience in developing and deploying datamart or data cube solutions
