As a member of the AWS Support team you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology assisting a global list of companies that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications. You will work with leading companies in this space and directly with the engineering teams within Amazon developing these new capabilities. Overview The AWS Support team is seeking engineers that enjoy solving problems and working directly with customers. This role supports our services that focus on Storage and Content Delivery technologies including S3, SES, CloudFront, Storage Gateway, Elastic Transcoder and Media Services, Glacier, and Snowball

· Strong Linux or Windows system administrator skills · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or 7+ years of experience in a technical position · 7+ years of experience in systems, Software Defined Storage (SDS) or Content Delivery Network (CDN) administration · Experience operating and troubleshooting networks · Knowledge of client/server and distributed systems architecture · Knowledge of large-scale storage architectures and backup/DR strategies · Experience with scripting · Excellent oral and written communication skills · Customer service
