The WW Global Device Partner (GDP) team is seeking a driven segment sales lead with strong commercial channel experience (Large Enterprise, Education and Public Sector channels) and partner-facing account management. The role requires exceptional partner relationship, sales and leadership skills. Through a combination of business intelligence, product development, marketing, partner and portfolio management expertise this role will foster strategic engagements that lead to the development of industry leading GTM plans that drive the Microsoft platform and services. This role offers a great opportunity to be at the center of multiple groups, both externally and internally at Microsoft. Success will require collaboration within CDS as well as with various roles (e.g. technical, sales, marketing, etc.) across Microsoft Category teams and Product Groups to develop plans to drive existing and new categories and sustained success with and through partners. Success will be measured by overall unit/revenue growth and associated metrics of Commercial Windows sales, services and channel sell-through along with designing and delivering on effective GTM plans for new categories of devices. Key responsibilities include: • Lead engagement with the Commercial Category team to keep up to date on strategy, enterprise partner programs and driving the integration of our portfolio into these plans. Educate partners on commercial programs to ensure partners are leveraging these valuable programs and investments • Establish strong working partnerships internally
Required Experience: • 8-10 years of senior sales and/or product marketing and management experience, have an outstanding track record of results, and can demonstrate critical and creative thinking. • Sales and business development experience in a partner company, or a software company with an OEM/Hardware focus. • Has deep partner connection and insight: Develops trusting relationships with critical partners (both internal and external) and achieves partner satisfaction. • Data-driven, independent thinker who can operate within a broad framework yet maintain excellent communication with multiple
