The North America Consumer and Device Sales (CDS) organization works with ecosystem partners to build, market and sell a winning portfolio that delights customers and earns fans around the world. The role of the Office Category Lead is to be the subject matter expert and voice for the North American Region. Working in close collaboration with key stakeholders and across the range of products and services, this is a senior business marketing role to provide leadership and evangelize Office to the consumer/retail and SMB/distribution marketing and sales teams. S/he will be responsible for leading marketing and category initiatives designed to drive sales and affinity for all products and services. The role serves as the key interface across the consumer and SMB businesses and partners with the Worldwide Category team, the Product Marketing Groups (PMG), and key stakeholders to help deliver the business objectives of landing Office successfully. Strong individual with a talent for articulating a complex business story precisely, succinctly and truthfully to senior leaders. Relevant consumer marketing experience in the retail/distribution channel or entertainment/technology fields. Deep experience in working in highly matrixed teams. Broad skill set encompassing excellent marketing and relationship management capabilities with proven ability to collaborate well across functional groups and virtual teams to achieve specific business objectives.
