The Business Strategy Leader will lead a seasoned team of professionals to shape strategies and deep partnerships that empower digital transformation across discrete manufacturing, chemicals and agrochemicals, and energy verticals. With a deep understanding of the Manufacturing and Resources industry, customer requirements, and the competitive landscape, the Business Strategy Leader will lead the development of go-to-market industry solutions in partnership with the Business Strategy Managers, as well as cross-functional Microsoft teams. The Business Strategy Leader will have deep Manufacturing and Resources industry experience, an established network within these industries, as well as the technical expertise to guide the team in developing and supporting vertical solutions. This individual will be a strong people manager and team leader, able to cultivate relationships with senior management and manage across functional teams. Critical skills include the ability to identify new market opportunities, models, and solution gaps; articulate business value and outcomes; and build strategies around market requirements. 10+ years industry domain experience working in business/sales/leadership roles within the Manufacturing and Resources industry, specifically across discrete manufacturing, chemicals and agrochemicals, and energy verticals. 10+ year business and market development skills. 10+ years industry solution experience (i.e. as a business solution consultant in delivery and sales roles) Solid technical expertise relevant to the industry and emerging solution areas Experienced people manager with the ability to lead a team of experienced individual contributors Industry specialized sales, services or consulting
