The Cross-Industry Strategy and Sales (CISS) group is focused on accelerating Microsoft's go to market (GTM) for our largest clients by driving industry differentiated value proposition with account teams and partners. Within CISS, the Partner and Ecosystem team is responsible for the cross-industry engagement of our three primary partner types, Advisory, Service Providers and Independent Software Vendors (ISV) to drive
Primary responsibilities of the BSL-Cross Industry Partner lead: Work closely with Engineering, One Commercial Partner, Marketing, Services and Industry team to develop the industry solutions in such a way to effectively scale through the industry (or vertical) where relevant Work closely with Partners to land first industry solution "light house" deals and develop the BOM, services and partner engagement model Iterate and learn from these first deal to improve the solution package to the point where the solution (BOM, solution, engagement models) it is stable and well understood allowing us to
Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in partner-facing roles, including driving strategic partnerships Previous experience in business development 5+ years of experience in the Enterprise IT space Desired Experiences: 10+ years Industry domain expertise and expertise working in Business roles at a company in the target industry (i.e. ISV/SI/MSP/Advisory) Significant (10+ years) Industry solution experience (i.e. as a business solution consultant in delivery and sales roles) Skills and Knowledge Industry specialized sales or consulting position within an IT Consulting or Services company
