The marketplace and partner team within the Commerce and Ecosystems engineering (C+E) group is an inclusive, highly collaborative team which functions in a start-up like environment. We are looking for a high energy and motivated individual to help us define the future of programs related to developing our reseller partner channel as well as program and experiences for the delivery of managed services. This role represents an opportunity to tackle one of the biggest growth areas for Microsoft, driving accelerated growth of Microsoft Azure and Business Applications with our partner ecosystem. In this role you will lead our teams' efforts to transform and grow the cloud solution provider (CSP) program. You will help define business requirements, develop concepts to drive increased engagement with partners and launch new capabilities in market. Reviewing existing business and incentive models, and related tooling, to understand current state and opportunities to improve. Forming recommendations and writing business requirements to define the end to end partner experiences within the CSP program. Developing forecasts, assumption models and growth plans based on new business models and feature introductions. Creating launch plans for new capabilities in conjunction with marketing and partner teams. Defining methods of measurement and metrics to support partner engagement. Reporting to senior business and technical leaders within Microsoft
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, product marketing or program management Experience defining business requirements and developing research-based approach to requirements gathering Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends Experience with indirect channel programs, managed services models, IT Service Management (ITIL) concepts a plus Exceptional community building skills and extensive cross-group coordination Ability to manage ambiguity, identifying systemic approaches to solving problems Results driven; strong analytical
