As the Insights Team leader, you will help break new ground and drive transformation in the use of analytics in technical and professional skills development. In this role, you will manage three teams of data scientists and work closely with business stakeholders to use analytics to help evaluate and grow technical and professional skill proficiency inside and outside of Microsoft. Lead three data science teams to provide foundational descriptive and predictive insights and ad-hoc support that the business needs to make decisions on how to invest in, optimize, and grow professional and technical capabilities Provide clarity, coalescing the team around a common vision, and set the team's short-term and long-term priorities in alignment with business needs Act as a partner and strategic advisor with other senior business leaders to influence learning strategy and direction Generate recommendations and communicate to senior executives clearly and succinctly Grow teams' members'
Experience with change management, idea socialization, and senior leadership-level presentations 7+ years' experience leading high performing team in fast-paced environment 5+ years' experience in data related profession (e.g. data science, data science, analytics, etc.) BS or Masters degree in economics, business admin, data science, finance, or computer science preferred 3+ years' experience working with engineers Other: Role is Redmond based Travel 10%
