Amazon Prime Finance is looking for a talented Business Intelligence Engineer to help drive investment and product decisions at Amazon Prime. You will be joining a team of business intelligence engineers dedicated to improving the Amazon Prime experience on a global scale. Prime is one of the highest-visibility groups across Amazon, and central to the Amazon flywheel. We harness insights from data to provide customers with relevant and enticing benefits in more than 15 countries. This is a tremendous opportunity for Business Intelligence Engineers who want to develop innovative ways of interacting with and interpreting business metrics, and shape the future of Prime worldwide. You will have the chance to work with and understand all aspects of customers’ interactions with Amazon, from subscription behaviors to shipping usage, from usage of digital benefits (Music/Video/Reading/Twitch) to payments and fraud. · Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or business field. · 4+ years of relevant work experience in analytics and business intelligence · Ability to communicate complex ideas simply, coherently and fluently · Track record of using SQL to derive insights from large (billions of rows), complex databases · Passion for learning and adapting to new technologies · Experience with scripting languages such as Python, R, Perl etc.· Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or business field · 7+ years of relevant work experience in analytics and business intelligence
