Amazon seeks a Metrics and Reporting SME (subject matter expert), to join our Performance Advertising Finance – Insights and Analytics team. Amazon’s Performance Advertising business is a high-growth, nuanced and complex business. It’s uniquely positioned to leverage data and analytics to continue enhancing is growth rates. The role of Finance is that of a strategic partner providing insights to unlock the growth potential of this business, while ensuring we continue earning the trust of our customers. We rely on data and metrics to drive action, and are thoughtful and intentional in developing metrics that support fast decision making and highlight optimization opportunities. We’re looking for a top technical and analytical mind capable of extracting value out of our large and disparate datasets by streamlining and simplifying the metric reporting needs for our operating cadences such as daily, weekly and monthly business reviews. · BS with 5 years of relevant experience or MS with 3 years of relevant experience · BS/MS degrees in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Operations Research etc. · Relevant hands-on experience in data mining and/or quantitative analysis · Relevant hands-on experience with building reports that rely on big data at scale · Expertise with advanced Tableau is a plus, but ability to learn new tools is more important · Fluent knowledge of relational databases (SQL) · Fluent in at least one scripting language such as Python or Scala; command line usage · Experience working with very large,
