The Amazon Global Logistics team is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to support multiple cross-border fulfillment initiatives. Innovation is part of our DNA! We are looking to hire for a stand out BIE for our team responsible for building out analysis, visualization tools and processes to inform our business decisions. The successful candidate will be able to retrieve, integrate, visualize and present critical data in a format that is immediately useful to improve the business decision-making process. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as an outstanding business acumen. · Bachelors' Degree · 4+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring application of analytic skills to integrate data into operational planning/business planning or advanced degree · Manipulate/mine data from database tables (ex. Redshift, MySQL, Oracle) using SQL. · Manipulate/mine data from log files by writing scripts (ex. PERL, Python, UNIX) · Perform deep-dives and root cause analysis to answer business questions · Advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools. · Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate
