Title: Business Intelligence Engineer Worksite: Seattle, WA Position Responsibilities: Design, develop, implement, test, document, and operate large-scale, high-volume, high-performance data structures for business intelligence analytics. Implement data structures using best practices in data modeling and provide on-line reporting and analysis using business intelligence tools and a logical abstraction layer against large, multi-dimensional datasets and multiple sources. Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture. Analyze source data systems and drive best practices in source teams. Analyze large amounts of data, discover and solve real world problems, and build metrics and business cases to help business teams to make decisions. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Industrial or Systems Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a Data Engineer or a related occupation. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): data mining including SQL, ETL, and data warehouse; using databases including SQL databases in a business environment with big data technologies and large-scale, complex datasets including Amazon Redshift, Hadoop or Hive; complex data analysis
