Amazon Transportation Services Postal Team is looking for an experienced, self-driven, analytical, and strategic Senior Business Intelligence Engineer. We are focused on building solutions, applications and platforms that improve our customers experience as orders move from our Fulfillment Centers and through various postal partners across the Americas and ultimately to our customers. We are developing novel solutions that improve the customer experience, reduce cost, and create new ways for us to monetize our transportation assets. In this role, you will be exposed to what Amazon is doing to re-think the future of Amazon's ground and air transportation network. You will have ownership of the end-to-end development of solutions to complex questions and you’ll play an integral role in strategic decision-making. You will be working with a diverse, complex and very large data warehouse
· BA/BS Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related discipline · 5+ years of relevant experience with data mining, SQL, building reporting, and statistical modeling · Experience working with business customers to drive requirements analysis · Proactive attitude · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where ambiguity is the norm· Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving; think big, start small, grow fast · Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability
