Amazon Access is looking for an experienced, self-driven, analytical, and thoughtful Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE). Amazon Access is building the future of “click and collect” solutions; we own Amazon Lockers, Amazon Hubs, Amazon Campus and other physical store nodes/solutions that let our customers order from Amazon.com and ship to a local, safe and convenient pick-up solution. In this role, you will be exposed to what Amazon is doing to re-think the future of retail both online and offline. You will be working with a diverse, complex and very large data warehouse environment. You will work hand-in-hand with a Data Engineering (DE) team to build analytics pipelines, platforms and solutions that solve important business problems. Instead of drowning in Excel spreadsheets and tabs, you will be working with Tableau to build a self-service reporting and basic analytics solution
· BA/BS Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Bioinformatics or related discipline · · 5+ years of relevant experience with data mining, SQL, building reporting, and statistical modeling · Experience working with business customers to drive requirements analysis · · Proactive attitude · · Strong written and verbal communication skills · · Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where ambiguity is the norm · · Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving; think big, start small, grow fast · · Strong attention to detail, excellent organization
