Internal Benchmarking is a Service that inspects, measures, and drives improvements to Amazon’s global businesses. The BIE works as a member of the Systems Engineering team (team members include BI Engineer, Data Engineer, Solution Architect, and Software Development Engineer) which develops automation+analytics tools while applying such tools to execute individual
· 4+ years hands-on analytics work experience with proven quantitative orientation, as an BIE, TPM, or Solution Architect · Bachelor’s degree in math, finance, engineering, statistics, or related discipline is required · Proven analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases · Fluency in R, Python or a similar modeling language, and proficiency in SQL · Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively develop and communicate clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses
