Amazon Advertising is looking for a curious and resourceful Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join the Advertiser Support and Operations team. This team will ensures that advertisers using Sponsored Ads products and services have world class support. The BIE will own critical back-end data sets and related reporting to measure operations performance and analyze business impact. Responsibilities of this position include: · Design and build back-end data sets from various data sources. · Collaborate with Program Managers to create innovative KPIs to assess our business. · Own the efficient creation and production of reports and dashboards on current performance trends. · Identify requirements and coordinate with BI teams and business leads on implementation. · Pull and synthesize data and conduct business analyses that drive strategic decisions or process improvements. · Identify and drive improvements in reporting automation and metrics. · Build solutions to have maximum scale and
· BS in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics · 3+ years of relevant experience as a BIE, Data Engineer or Business Analyst · Strong communication skills - both written and verbal · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse solutions and databases in a business environment with large-scale complex datasets · Experience with Euclid, Quicksight or similar data visualization software · Experience working with call center metrics at scale · Experience with Redshift Amazon.com is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority /
