Sellers are a critical part of Amazon’s ecosystem to deliver on our vision of offering the earth’s largest selection and lowest prices. These Sellers offer hundreds of millions of unique SKUs, providing a broad and diverse inventory of products from Books, Electronics, Apparel, Consumables and beyond. Our business currently represents +40% of Amazon units sold, and continues to grow. The North American Consumer Recruitment and Development team infuses new blood into Amazon by recruiting tens of thousands of new Sellers every year. We are looking for a high-performing Business Intelligence Engineer to join a strong BI team to provide analytical horsepower in identifying growth opportunities and assisting the team to take data-driven decisions. · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related technical field. · 5+ years of relevant employment experience. · 3+ years of hands on experience in SQL, Excel, Linux and OLAP · 3+ years of hands on experience in SAS, R and/or Python (data extraction, manipulation, statistical analysis and predictive modeling) · 2+ years of experience in projects involving cross-functional teams and successfully completing 3-6 projects · 5+ years of experience in data mining using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets · 5+ years of experience
