Fulfillment Exception Management (FXM) within the SCOT organization Seattle team, is looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer. This group owns the systems that orchestrates services involved in the fulfillment process from the time the orders are assigned to fulfillment until they are ready to be packed and shipped to our customers. Our systems cover a wide range of business and technology areas including inventory management, workflow management, shipment creation, load balancing, and availability. This is a high-impact space packed with challenging problems involving very complex systems and smart people - our systems handle the fulfillment of all customer orders that are sold on Amazon and merchant websites. This is a unique chance to become an owner of part of Amazon's business-critical fulfillment pipeline! Responsibilities include: · Defining, developing and maintaining critical business and operational reports reviewed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual
· BA/BS degree in computer science engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, econometrics, or a similar quantitative field · 5+ years work experience in data mining and analysis · Proven analytical and quantitative skills · Experience with scripting languages and functional programming (Python, R) · Proficiency in statistical software such as R, S-plus, SAS, STATA · SQL expert with prior success working with extremely large data sets · Working familiarity with industry standard data analysis and presentation tools · Prior experience in design and execution of analytics projects · Demonstrated
