Amazon Mobile is one of the fastest-growing and strategic new business areas inside Amazon. We are looking for a talented Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer who is passionate about using data to drive crucial business decisions regarding our activity in the mobile ecosystem. This role will focus on building world class processes around designing, collecting, organizing and presenting data to analyze our mobile site/application traffic, understand customer behavior, feature performance and accurately calculate ROI across multiple marketing and Business Development channels. As a BI Engineer working on the analytics platform, you will be developing and supporting the analytic technologies to give our internal customers flexible and structured access to data that is timely, accurate and actionable. A successful candidate knows and loves working with BI tools, is comfortable accessing and working with data from multiple sources, and can partner with internal stakeholders to help drive the
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related field · 4+ years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Engineer, Data Miner, or a related occupation. Experience includes working with complex data analysis, diving deep and coming up with effective and scalable solutions · Master’s degree in related technical field · Strong verbal/written communication skills, effectively communicating with business and technical teams. · Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, ETL and Redshift. Experience with scripting technologies like Python, Perl
