Amazon Lending is seeking a passionate and talented Business Development Manager with end-to-end responsibility to initiate, structure, negotiate, and close commercial agreements that enable us to offer new services to our customers. This is an opportunity for you to advance your leadership and commercial skills within a highly visible program. The Business Development Manager will serve as a key member of the Business Development team and work with key internal stakeholders (e.g. product leaders, legal and control functions, partners). This individual will contribute to the strategic development of our programs, including developing and communicating best practices across different initiatives, and be responsible for leading partnership negotiations and crafting commercial agreements. This individual will gather market segment data to identify trends and opportunities, analyze data to support negotiations, and execute on business development opportunities including managing contract negotiations

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics · Demonstrated success in executing deals and partnerships · Highly attentive to details, with experience writing termsheets and negotiating contracts · Able to juggle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously · Creative and data driven, with a track record in data driven negotiations · 6+ years of experience in product management, program management and/or business development · Able to deal with ambiguity and manage changing priorities · Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills · Excellent written and verbal
