This role will drive cost and market intelligence that optimizes category cost positions and drives a competitive advantage in the highly complex world of hardware sourcing and manufacturing.
Cost and market intelligence responsibilities include cost modeling, product/category cost trending and intelligence, and competitive supply chain analyses across a variety of commodity areas and technology categories. It will interface with Sourcing category owners, New Product Introduction, Finance, Manufacturing, and Hardware Development teams to drive analytics and intelligence into both the development and execution phases of programs, and is responsible for maintaining the overall Sourcing cadence in day to day operations, performance reviews, and strategy development and execution.
The ideal candidate for this position has industry experience, a strong background in research, data and analytics, sourcing and supply chain experience, and a creative approach to taking information and driving intelligence and actions at all levels in the organization.
